I didn’t start masturbating until I was 23.

I had so much shame about my body & sex. I had so much shame about pleasure. I didn’t know my body was mine to love & enjoy. I didn’t believe I deserved the beauty & connection that comes with self-pleasure. I didn’t believe that I was my own to have. Me for me. A relationship with myself. And I thought there was something wrong with me. That my body was inherently wrong. That I was inherently wrong.

It turns out that was really someone else shame. Someone else’s bullshit.

23-year-old me would be so proud & soooo turned on by the relationship I have with my body, self-pleasure & self-love today.
